EMC Technology Specialist

We are seeking an EMC Technology Specialist to coordinate and direct the planning, organization, control, and implementation of the organization’s Enterprise Management Consoles and Storage Systems.

Responsibilities & Duties:
  • EMC VMAX storage Configuration/Administration
  • EMC SRDF implementation/monitoring/administration
  • EMC Storage cloning
  • EMC VPLEX Configuration/Administration
  • EMC Avamar Configuration/Administration
  • EMC DataDomain Configuration/Administration
  • Must be able to support occasional weekend infrastructure and release nights (typically once or twice a month on Friday’s from 7 p.m. – Midnight).  The EMC Systems Engineer must be able work till 6 p.m. daily (9:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.)
Required Skills:
  • Active Top Secret Clearance. 
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 7+ years’ experience with EMC storage technologies
  • 5+ years’ experience with EMC storage technologies 
  • 5+ years’ experience with EMC TimeFinder technology 
  • 2+ years’ experience with EMC VPLEX technology 
  • 2+ years’ experience with EMC Avamar technology 
  • 2+ years’ experience with EMC DataDomain technology 
  • 5+ years’ experience in windows 2008 or above server administration
  • Extensive experience in EMC VMAX storage design/configuration/administration
  • Extensive experience in EMC SRDF implementation/monitoring/administration 
  • Expert experience with EMC TimeFinder technology 
  • Experience in EMC VPLEX Configuration/Administration 
  • Experience in EMC Avamar Configuration/Administration 
  • Experience in DataDomain Avamar Configuration/Administration 
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills in Microsoft Windows server 2008/2012 environment 
  • Experience with Linux and/or similar Unix-based servers
  • EMC Proven Professional Certification
  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) or The Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) -- Windows Server 2008 track
  • EMC Storage Technologies (System Administration) Training
