This opening offers the opportunity to work as a government contractor for the Department of Homeland Security, Custom and Border Protection Division.
Position Objective:  Provide continuing administrative support services for various tasks and programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Retrieve and analyze all reports per SOP for designated task
  • Apply received payments to correct receivable
  • Prepare refunds of all funds not due CBP.
  • Resolve discrepancies per assigned task within designated times frames per SOP.
  • Respond to all inquiries whether email or phone, per specified task as required.
  • Record daily received payments in Check Tracker
  • Audit, destroy and update check tracker all deposited checks within 2 weeks of deposit date.
  • Distribute cash receipts to appropriate person/ area.
  • Update KMS as required for an assigned process.
  • Process PMS activations, ACH adds, changes, and deletes.
  • Provide User account access to specified program based on designated task.
  • Provide statistical data as requested.
  • All duties listed above are completed at 95% of the required measure.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of education above high school from an accredited college or university.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A degree in business, management, finance, or accounting field of study is preferred.
  • It is preferred that assigned personnel have a four (4) year degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Ability to obtain a favorable rating upon completion of Client high-risk background investigation.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel and at least one (1) email software application.
  • Familiarity with accounting practices and data.
  • One year of direct relevant work experience is preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail
  • Ability to follow oral and written directions to complete assigned tasks.
  • Ability to perform problem-solving techniques and demonstrate analytical skills.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and work well with others.
