DecisionPoint is currently seeking a qualified candidate to provide support for HR programs requiring expert knowledge of federal HR operations, procedures and requirements.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provide expert and authoritative advice on complex classification issues and problems with agency-wide impact, and collaborate with other HR specialists (Government and Contractor) to ensure that the application of position classification standards is accurate and consistent.
· Ensure that the expert advice provided on all types of appointing authorities, as well as compensation and other incentives to attract and retain high quality and skilled employees under all appointing mechanisms, is within the practices of the OHR and FDA parameters.
· Conduct complex analyses of organizational proposals and research positions. The Contractor shall advise managers and supervisors of merit promotion and other competitive procedures and requirements and respond to and resolve complex position classification and position management questions and issues.
 
Basic Qualifications:
· Must have a minimum of seven (7) + years’ federal HR experience in the area in which work is performed.
· High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum Qualifications
· Experience providing support for HR programs requiring expert knowledge of federal HR operations, procedures and requirements, especially in the following areas of HR: classification and position management.
· Experience applying position classification standards to determine the title, grade and occupational series for administrative, technical, and scientific positions.
· Must possess excellent writing and communication skills.
· Must be capable of working independently, as a team member or a team lead.
